1st off... the tags that i thought were on the picture weren't.... so i am figuring that tags are the comments/names ON the picture... . I thought Picasa was interesting... frankly similar fomat as using Google Images (link on Google's hompage). I tend to use that for quick digital treasures for my courses i teach, (i use the SmartBoard for all of the courses i teach) yet i think i will explore these new sites also.
The big difference in Picasa is the editing features. You can actually edit pictures online. And don't forget Flickr the master of all picture sharing.

ReplyDeleteThe idea of picture sharing is an odd one.. and so is TWITTER/FACEBOOK/WHATEVERELSEBOOK.. oh.. i rembember now... MYSPACE.
As an educator.. and a free spirited individual.... it is hard to mix. ( in know... use it eduactionally(sp))...
... might be alot of work.. we shall see..
